Volunteer Signup

Browse available volunteer positions and sign up for upcoming services directly from B1 Mobile. See what positions need to be filled, how many spots are open, and join a team with just a few taps.

Before You Begin

  • Install B1 Mobile and log in to your account
  • Your church administrator must have enabled self-signup on at least one position

Browsing Volunteer Opportunities

  1. Open the Volunteer section from the app navigation.
  2. A list of upcoming service plans with open positions appears.
  3. Each plan card shows:
    • Plan name and service date
    • Overall progress bar showing total spots filled
    • Status -- number of spots still open, or "Full" if all spots are taken
    • Position chips showing each role and its open slot count
  4. Tap View and Sign Up to see the full list of positions for a plan.

Signing Up for a Position

  1. Tap a plan to open its details.
  2. Positions are grouped by category (for example, "Band", "Hospitality", "Kids Ministry").
  3. Each position shows the role name, description, and available spots.
  4. Tap Sign Up next to the position you want.
  5. A confirmation alert appears: "You're signed up! Thank you for volunteering."
  6. The position shows a green indicator confirming your signup.

You must be logged in to sign up for positions. The app will prompt you to log in if needed.

Removing a Signup

  1. Find the position you signed up for -- it shows a green "You're signed up" indicator.
  2. Tap Remove.
  3. A confirmation dialog asks if you are sure.
  4. Confirm to remove yourself from the position.

Deadlines and Capacity

  • Deadlines -- Your church may set a cutoff time before the service. After the deadline, you cannot sign up or remove signups. A banner at the top of the plan indicates when the deadline has passed.
  • Capacity -- Each position has a limited number of spots. When full, the signup button is disabled. Spots reopen if someone cancels.
