Campaigns & Pledges

Campaigns let you run a fundraising drive toward a specific goal — a building fund, a missions trip, a special project — and track pledges from members alongside actual donations so you can see your real-time progress.

Before You Begin

  • Set up your donation funds — each campaign is tied to a fund
  • You need access to the Donations section of B1 Admin

Opening Campaigns​

In B1 Admin, go to Donations in the left sidebar and select Campaigns. You will see a list of all campaigns with their goal amount, total pledged, and total given so far.

Creating a Campaign​

  1. Click Add Campaign.
  2. Fill in the campaign details:
    • Name (required) — the display name for this campaign (for example, "Building Fund 2026").
    • Fund — the donation fund this campaign is associated with.
    • Start Date / End Date — the fundraising window.
    • Goal — the target dollar amount for the campaign.
  3. Click Save.

Tracking Progress​

Each campaign card shows:

  • Goal — your target amount
  • Pledged — the total amount members have pledged to give
  • Given — the total amount actually donated to this campaign's fund during the campaign window
  • A progress bar showing how far toward your goal you have come

Click any campaign to open the detail view, which lists individual pledges and their fulfillment status.

Adding Pledges​

Pledges are commitments from members to give toward a campaign. To record a pledge:

  1. Open a campaign.
  2. Click Add Pledge.
  3. Select the person making the pledge.
  4. Enter the pledge amount.
  5. Optionally set a date for the pledge commitment.
  6. Click Save.

Pledges appear in the campaign detail and contribute to the Pledged total on the campaign card.

Pledges are separate from actual donations. A pledge tracks a commitment; a donation records the actual gift. Both are shown on the campaign so you can see how well pledges are being fulfilled.

Editing or Deleting a Campaign​

Click the edit icon on any campaign card to update its name, goal, dates, or fund. Click Delete to permanently remove the campaign and its pledges. Deleting a campaign does not delete any donations that were recorded to its fund.
