Volunteer Signup

Browse available volunteer positions and sign yourself up for upcoming services directly from B1.church. Positions are organized by category so you can quickly find where help is needed and join a team.

Before You Begin

  • A B1.church account -- you must be logged in to sign up
  • Your church administrator must have enabled self-signup on at least one position

Browsing Available Positions​

  1. Navigate to the Volunteer page on your church's B1.church website.
  2. You will see a list of upcoming service plans that have open volunteer positions.
  3. Each plan shows the plan name, service date, and service times.

Positions are grouped by category (for example, "Band", "Hospitality", "Kids Ministry"). Each position shows:

  • Position name -- The role you would fill (e.g., "Drummer", "Greeter", "Coffee Server").
  • Description -- Details about the role, if provided by the administrator.
  • Available spots -- A progress bar showing how many slots are filled and how many remain.

Signing Up​

  1. Find a position you want to volunteer for.
  2. Click the Sign Up button next to the position.
  3. A confirmation message appears: "You're signed up! Thank you for volunteering."
  4. The position now shows a green indicator confirming you are signed up.

You must be logged in to sign up. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in first.

Removing a Signup​

If your plans change and you can no longer serve:

  1. Find the position you signed up for -- it will show a green "You're signed up" indicator.
  2. Click the Remove button.
  3. Confirm that you want to remove yourself from the position.
  4. A message confirms: "You have been removed from this position."

Deadlines​

Your church administrator may set a signup deadline for each plan. The deadline is a set number of hours before the service date. Once the deadline passes:

  • You cannot sign up for new positions.
  • You cannot remove existing signups.
  • A message at the top of the plan indicates that the signup deadline has passed.

Position Capacity​

Each position has a limited number of spots. When all spots are filled:

  • The position shows as Full.
  • The signup button is disabled.
  • If someone removes their signup, the spot opens up again.
Tip

Check the volunteer page regularly, especially early in the week. Popular positions fill up quickly, so signing up early gives you the best selection.
