Self Check-In

The self check-in process lets you record attendance for yourself and your household in just a few steps. It is a quick alternative to using a physical kiosk at the church.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged in to your B1.church account.
  • Your household members must be linked to your account. If a family member is missing, ask your church administrator to add them to your household.

The Check-In Flow

Check-in follows a simple three-step process. Open Check-In from the tab bar or the More page to get started.

Step 1: Select a Service

When you open the check-in page, you will see a list of available services (for example, "Sunday Morning" or "Wednesday Evening"). Each service card shows the service name and campus if your church has multiple locations.

Click on a service to select it and move to the next step.

Step 2: Select Household Members and Groups

After selecting a service, you will see your household members under Who's here. For each person attending:

  1. Tap a household member to expand their entry.
  2. You will see the available service times for the service you selected. If your church has set a check-in schedule for a service time, you can only pick it while check-in for it is open (for example, from 30 minutes before the service until shortly after it ends). Outside that window the service time is listed as Closed, with when it opens if known -- for example, Closed · opens Sun 9:30 AM.
  3. Tap Select Group next to a service time to choose which group the person should be checked into (such as "Main Worship," "Kids Room 1," or "Youth Group").
  4. Repeat for each household member who is attending.

You do not need to check in every household member -- only expand and assign groups for the people who are actually present.

Step 3: Confirmation

Once you have selected groups for everyone who is attending, tap the button at the bottom of the page. It counts the people you have selected -- for example, Check in 1 person or Check in 3 people.

You will see a confirmation that your check-in is complete and your attendance has been saved. After a moment the page returns to the service list, ready for the next check-in.

If your church prints name tags at a check-in station, you instead see You're checked in! with a QR code and a security code. Show the code at a check-in station to print your name tags, then tap Done. At a B1 Checkin kiosk, tap Scan code and hold the QR code up to the camera -- see Printing Labels for a Phone Check-In.

If your household is already checked in for the service you select, a Show check-in code link appears next to the Who's here heading. Tap it to bring the QR code and security code back up -- for example, if you closed the page before reaching a check-in station.

If you need to change a group selection before completing check-in, tap the Change button next to any service time to pick a different group.

Things to Know

  • You can only check in household members that are linked to your account. If a family member is missing, ask your church administrator to add them to your household.
  • If no services appear on the check-in page, your church may not have any services configured for check-in at this time.
  • If you select a service and see a message such as "Check-in opens Sun 9:30 AM." (or "Check-in isn't open for this service right now."), none of that service's times are currently within their check-in window. Try again once check-in opens.
  • If your household checked in for an earlier service time, you can come back and check in for a later service time once it opens, even after the earlier one has closed.
  • If a room you picked is full or closed, you'll see "A room you picked is full or closed for check-in. Please see a volunteer."
попередження

Check-in is only available when your church has active services configured. If you do not see any services listed, check with your church office to confirm whether self check-in is enabled.
