Your WorshipCommons Account and Writer Page

You can browse, play, print, and project songs on WorshipCommons without an account. A free account lets you save songs, share songs of your own, propose edits, and keep track of everything you've sent. If you write songs, your account also lets you edit the writer page churches see.

Signing In or Creating an Account

WorshipCommons uses ChurchApps accounts. If you already have one (for example, from B1), you can use the same email and password.

  1. Click Sign in in the top menu.
  2. Enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in.

To create an account:

  1. On the sign-in page, click Create an account.
  2. Enter your First name, Last name, and Email, then click Create account.
  3. Check your email for a 6-digit code, type it in, and click Verify code.
  4. Choose a password of at least 8 characters, type it again under Verify password, and click Set password & sign in.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page, enter your email, and click Send code. Then enter the code from your email and set a new password.

Once you're signed in, your first name appears in the top menu. Click it to open My submissions or Report, or to Sign out.

Saved Songs

Click the heart on any song page to save it. Click Saved songs in the top menu to see every song you've saved. Saved songs are stored in your account, so they appear on every device you sign in from. Click Remove to take a song off the list.

نصيحة

Saved songs are a simple favorites list. To plan a set for a specific Sunday, with keys and sections, use Service Plans.

My Submissions

Click your name in the top menu and choose My submissions to see every song and change you've started or sent, and where each one stands. Use the tabs at the top -- All, Drafts, In review, Live, and Not accepted -- to filter the list.

Each entry shows its type (such as New song, Translation, Arrangement, Correction, or Removal request) and its status:

StatusWhat it means
DraftStarted but not sent yet. Click Continue to finish it or Delete draft to remove it.
Changes requestedA reviewer asked for changes. Click Continue, make them, and send it again.
In reviewA person reads every song before it goes live, usually within a few days. Click Withdraw to pull it back into a draft.
LiveIn the library and free for churches to use. You'll see its download count and its link.
Not acceptedIt didn't make it into the library. The reviewer's reason is shown.
WithdrawnYou pulled it back before it was reviewed.
Taken downThe song was removed from the library, as you asked.

For a live song, click Copy link to share its page, Propose a change to send an edit, or Request removal to ask for it to be taken down. See Proposing Edits and Reporting Songs.

معلومة

If the WorshipCommons team adds you as a co-publisher of a song -- for example, a song you co-wrote that someone else uploaded -- it appears in My submissions as Live, even though you didn't send it yourself. As a publisher of the song, you can make changes even when its license closes it to public edits.

Writer Pages

Every writer in the library has a writer page that lists their songs, with each song's year, key, themes, and license. Churches reach it by clicking a writer's name on a song page. When a song has several writers, each name links to its own page.

A writer page can also show a portrait, a short bio, links, and support links where churches can support the writer's other work.

Editing Your Writer Page

You'll have a writer page once one of your songs is live and credits you on your own.

  1. Click your name in the top menu and choose My submissions.
  2. Click Writer profile.
  3. Under About you, write a few sentences about who you are and the songs you write (up to 2,000 characters).
  4. Under Links, add up to five links, such as your website. Give each a Label and its web address. Click Add a link for another row.
  5. Under Support links, add places where churches can support your work, such as a store or ministry page. Click Add a support link for another row.
  6. Click Save profile.

Click View your writer page to see it the way churches do. Your support links also appear as a Songwriter's page button on each of your song pages.
