Guest Registration
If you are visiting a church for the first time, you can register yourself and your family as guests using the guest registration page. This creates a record in the church's system so volunteers can check you in when you arrive.
Before You Begin
- Your church must have QR guest registration enabled
- Scan the QR code displayed at the check-in kiosk, or receive a link from a church volunteer
How Guest Registration Works
Guest registration is designed for visitors who do not yet have an account. A QR code is displayed at the church's check-in kiosk that links to the registration page. You can also receive the link from a volunteer or greeter.
Registering Your Family
- Scan the QR code at the check-in kiosk or open the guest registration link on your phone.
- The guest registration form appears with fields for the primary contact:
- First Name (required)
- Last Name (required)
- Email (optional)
- Phone (optional)
- To add family members, tap Add Family Member and enter their first and last name. You can add up to 10 family members.
- To remove a family member, tap the remove button next to their name.
- Tap Register to submit.
After Registering
Once you submit the form, a confirmation screen appears with the message: "Registration Complete -- You're all set! A staff member will check you in shortly."
Your registration creates records in the church database:
- A household is created using the primary contact's last name.
- Person records are created for each family member with a "Guest" membership status.
- A church volunteer or administrator can then check your family in using the B1 Checkin kiosk.
If your email matches an existing record in the church database, the system links to that record instead of creating a duplicate. This keeps the church's data clean.
Providing your email address helps the church follow up with you after your visit. It is optional but recommended.
