Guest Registration

If you are visiting a church for the first time, you can register yourself and your family as guests using the guest registration page. This creates a record in the church's system so volunteers can check you in when you arrive.

Before You Begin

  • Your church must have QR guest registration enabled. If it isn't, the page shows "Guest registration is not enabled for this church."
  • Scan the QR code displayed at the check-in kiosk, tap Register here on the kiosk, or receive a link from a church volunteer

How Guest Registration Works

Guest registration is designed for visitors who do not yet have an account. On the church's check-in kiosk, tap Register as guest to show a QR code that links to the registration page. You can also receive the link from a volunteer or greeter, or find it on a flyer or the church's website.

Don't have a phone handy? In the same QR code window on the kiosk, tap Register here to fill in the form on the kiosk itself. See Registering as a Guest for how this works on the kiosk.

The page opens with the title Guest Registration. If the church has added a header photo, it appears at the top of the page; otherwise you'll see a small icon.

Registering Your Family

  1. Scan the QR code at the check-in kiosk or open the guest registration link on your phone. (If you tapped Register here on the kiosk, the form is already open.)
  2. Fill in the Primary Contact card. First Name and Last Name are always required. Depending on what your church asks for, you may also see:
    • Email and Phone
    • Marital Status
    • Home Address -- Street Address, Address Line 2, City, State, and Zip. This is shared by the whole family.
  3. The form starts with a second card for Family Member 2. Enter their first and last name, or tap the X in the card's corner to remove it if you're registering on your own.
  4. To add more people, tap Add Family Member. The new card fills in the primary contact's last name for you. You can register up to 10 people at once.
  5. If your church asks for them, each person's card may also include Birth Date, Gender, and Grade.
  6. If your church includes a Comments box below the family members, use it to share anything you'd like the church to know (up to 1,000 characters).
  7. Tap Register to submit.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. If any are left blank, the form shows "Please fill in every required field." and nothing is submitted until you fill them in.

After Registering

Once you submit the form, a confirmation screen appears with the message: "Registration Complete -- You're all set! A staff member will check you in shortly."

Your registration creates records in the church database:

  • A household is created using the primary contact's last name, with the primary contact as head of household.
  • Person records are created for each family member with a "Visitor" membership status.
  • Any comments you entered are saved as a note on the primary contact's record for church staff to read.
  • If the church has chosen a group for new guests, your family is added to it. The church may also have your attendance recorded automatically if you register during one of that group's scheduled service times.
  • A church volunteer or administrator can then check your family in using the B1 Checkin kiosk.
info

Each registration creates a new household, so please register your family only once. If you've already registered, search for your name or phone number on the kiosk instead.

tip

If the form asks for your email address, providing it helps the church follow up with you after your visit.
