B1 Admin Overview

B1 Admin is your church management dashboard. It provides tools to manage every aspect of your church's operations -- from member directories and donations to website building and live streaming -- all from one place.

Getting Started

  1. Open your browser and go to admin.b1.church
  2. Sign in with your username and password
  3. You'll land on the Dashboard, your home page. It shows this week's service order, who's checked in and serving in real time, anything that needs your attention (like pending approvals or join requests), your open tasks, and your groups

Your Dashboard

The Dashboard is your B1 Admin home page (/). It is built around your church's weekly service:

  • This week's service -- the current or upcoming plan's name and order of service, with a link into the full plan
  • Live status -- once people start checking in on Sunday, the page shows how many are in the room, who's serving this hour, first-time guests, and a room-by-room breakdown with capacity bars
  • Needs Attention -- pending approvals and group join requests that require action
  • My tasks and My Groups -- your open tasks (add one with Add Task, or click All tasks for the full list) and the groups you belong to

What the Dashboard shows depends on your role. For example, the link into the full plan only appears if you can open that plan (you edit plans, belong to the plan's ministry, or are serving on it), and the All groups link only appears if you can manage groups, view group members, or view people.

Key Features

  • People - Manage your church directory, add members, bulk edit data, and browse by household or as a sortable table. Each person opens to one record page with their details on the left and summaries of attendance, giving, groups, notes and forms beside them. The Notes page lists recent notes across people, groups, events and workflow cards
  • Groups - Create and organize church groups with join requests, member management, group email, personalized group texts, and printable contact rosters. Each group opens to one page with its actions on the left and member, session, calendar and health summaries beside them
  • Attendance - Set up campuses, service times, track named attendance with printable class roll sheets, see which classes still need attendance entered, log simple headcounts with trend reports, give each service time a check-in schedule so self check-in opens and closes on its own, in each campus's time zone, and let first-time guests sign up from a QR code with the fields you choose
  • Donations - Record giving in multiple currencies, manage funds, log a single gift from a person's record, print batches (one at a time or every batch in a date range) with fund subtotals, close batches once they are counted, import a batch from a CSV file, let counting teams enter gifts with the Enter Donations permission, and generate statements printed with your church logo
  • Serving - Coordinate volunteers, create service plans (or copy one forward weekly for up to 12 weeks), send reminders by push, email or text, text everyone scheduled with Text Volunteers, manage tasks, and move people through step-by-step workflows that can send emails and texts, notify a staff member, record attendance, and track whether volunteers confirmed their serving assignments
  • Forms - Build custom forms for registrations and data collection, add a header photo, share stand-alone forms with a QR code, and link a form to a group so its leaders can read and print the answers
  • Reports - View birthday, attendance, and donation reports
  • Website - Build and manage your church website with custom navigation styles, track visits to your site and your B1 app with your GA4 ID, or turn off the public site and keep only the member portal
  • Sermons - Manage your sermon library, live streaming, and an automatic podcast feed
  • Calendars - Create curated calendars, manage room/resource bookings, and view availability
  • Settings - Configure everything from one scrolling page with a quick-jump list: church info, region, date and phone number format, texting (including your own Twilio account), roles with member counts, permissions, and custom person fields
