Service Order

When you open a plan, the Service Order section shows the first few items for that service -- tap Full service order to see the whole sequence. This gives you and your team a shared view of the service flow, including timing, song details, and descriptions for each element.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged in to your B1.church account.
  • Open a plan from your Plans list to view its service order.

What the Service Order Shows

The service order is displayed as a list of items in the order they will occur during the service. Each item includes:

  • Cumulative time -- The running time from the start of the service, so you know when each element is expected to begin.
  • Item label and description -- The name of the element (such as a song title, prayer, or announcement) along with any notes or descriptions.
  • Duration -- How long the item is expected to take.

Items are organized under headers that group related elements together (for example, "Worship Set" or "Message"). This makes it easy to scan the overall structure of the service.

Lesson and curriculum sections can also expand into a folder of individual actions nested beneath them -- click the section to expand or collapse its actions and see each step your team will walk through.

Viewing Song Lyrics and Chords

Click a song in the service order to open its lyrics and chords. Use the Key Signature dropdown at the top to transpose the chords on the fly -- handy if your instrument or vocal range needs a different key than the one the worship leader planned for.

Curriculum and Lesson Content

If the plan has associated curriculum or lesson content from a provider like Lessons.church, you will see a preview of that content within the service order. This can include lesson sections, presentation materials, and other resources your team needs for the service.

Printing the Service Order

The B1.church member app does not have a print option for plans. If you need a printed copy with the team roster and the full service order, ask a staff member to print it from B1 Admin. See Printing Plans.
