Event RSVPs
Group events can collect RSVPs so leaders know who is coming. On your group's calendar, each upcoming event asks "Will you attend?" — answer with a tap, change your mind anytime, and see at a glance how many others are going.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged in and a member of the group
- The event must have RSVPs allowed (they are on by default; leaders can turn them off per event)
Responding to an Event
- Open your group in the member portal and go to its Events / calendar view.
- Each upcoming event card shows Will you attend? with three buttons: Going, Maybe, and Can't go.
- Tap your answer. Your choice highlights, and each button shows a live count of how many people have given that response.
- Tap your highlighted answer again to clear it, or tap a different button to change your response.
Your RSVP applies to that specific occurrence — for a weekly meeting, you answer each week's event separately.
For Group Leaders
- Viewing responses -- Leaders see a View responses button on each event card. It opens the Responses sheet listing everyone by answer — Going, Maybe, and Can't go. If nobody has answered yet, it shows "No responses yet."
- Turning RSVPs on or off -- When creating or editing an event, use the Allow RSVPs switch. Events with RSVPs turned off show no response buttons. Staff creating events in bulk from B1 Admin have the same option — see Group Calendar.

RSVPs are a lightweight head count. If your event needs signup details, capacity management, or payment, use event registration instead.
