Demographics

The Demographics dashboard gives you a visual snapshot of your congregation — who they are, how many there are, and how your membership is distributed across age groups, genders, marital statuses, and campuses. Every chart is interactive: click any segment to jump straight to a filtered People search showing exactly those people.

Before You Begin

Opening Demographics

From the People page, click the Demographics button in the page header (the bar chart icon). The page shows your total person count at the top, followed by the charts described below.

Charts

Age Distribution

A grouped bar chart showing how many people fall into each age bracket (for example, 0–9, 10–17, 18–24, and so on through 65+). Each bar is split into three series — Female, Male, and Unassigned — so you can see the gender breakdown within each age group at a glance.

Membership Status

A donut chart breaking down your congregation by membership status (for example, Member, Regular Attender, Visitor, and so on).

Gender

A donut chart showing the proportion of female, male, and unassigned records in your directory.

Marital Status

A donut chart showing the breakdown across marital status values (for example, Married, Single, Widowed).

Campus

A donut chart showing how people are distributed across your church's campuses. This chart only appears if you have campuses configured and at least one person assigned to a campus. People with no campus assigned appear as Unassigned.

Drilling Into the Data

Click any slice of a donut chart or any bar segment on the age chart to navigate to the People page pre-filtered to show exactly those people. Use this to quickly build a contact list, run a bulk action, or export a segment — for example, click the Visitor slice in Membership Status to see all visitors and then send them to a workflow.
