Scheduling Lessons

Once your classrooms are set up, the Avanti step is scheduling lessons so your Volontari know exactly what Per teach and when. Scheduling connects the lesson content from Lessons.church Per your classroom calendar.

Prima di Iniziare

Viewing a Classroom Programma​

  1. Log in and navigate Per your Portal.
  2. Fai clic on the classroom you want Per schedule.
  3. The schedule Visualizza displays the last 4 past lessons and the Avanti 4 upcoming lessons. This gives you a quick look at what was recently taught and what is coming up.

Adding a Lezione Per the Programma​

  1. From the classroom schedule Visualizza, Fai clic Per Aggiungi a new lesson.
  2. Seleziona the Data for the lesson.
  3. Scegli the program you want Per teach from (for example, "Bible Stories for Kids").
  4. Seleziona the study within that program (for example, "Creation and Early Stories").
  5. Pick the specific lesson you want Per schedule.
  6. Scegli the appropriate venue for this classroom. Venues represent age-Gruppo-specific versions of the lesson content (for example, "Preschool" or "Elementary"). Picking the right venue ensures your Volontari see content tailored Per their classroom's age Gruppo.
  7. Salva the scheduled lesson.

The lesson will now appear on the classroom's schedule for that Data.

Info

Programs, studies, and lessons are the content hierarchy on Lessons.church. A program contains multiple studies, and each study contains individual lessons. Venues provide age-specific variations of the same lesson. See Programs and Studies for a full explanation.

How Volontari Use the Programma​

Once you have scheduled lessons, your Volontari can Apri the portal, Seleziona their classroom, and immediately see what is coming up. They can review the lesson content ahead of Ora, Scarica any materials they need, and arrive prepared. No more guesswork about what Per teach Avanti.

  • Plan ahead -- Churches schedule classroom lessons in B1 Admin, including applying a published Anno plan.
  • Stay consistent -- Following a program sequentially helps kids build on what they learned the previous week.
  • Check the history -- Use the past lesson list Per make sure you are not accidentally repeating content.

Make sure Per Seleziona the correct venue for your classroom's age Gruppo. Choosing the wrong venue means your Volontari will see content designed for a different age level.
