Songs
The Songs page manages your worship song library. Keep all your song details, lyrics, and arrangements in one place so your worship team can easily prepare for upcoming Servizi and maintain a consistent repertoire.
Prima di Iniziare
- Navigate Per the Serving section in B1 Admin Per access the Songs page
- Optionally, have your service plans set up so you can link songs directly into the service order
Browsing Your Song Library
When you Apri the Songs page, your songs are displayed as cards. Each card shows the song's thumbnail image, title, artist, and duration. Scroll through the library or use Cerca Per Trova what you need.
Searching for Songs
- Fai clic the Cerca button on the Songs page.
- Digita a song title or artist name.
- The results will filter as you Digita, showing matching songs from your library.
Adding a Song
- Fai clic Aggiungi Song on the Songs page.
- Cerca the external song database by title or artist.
- Seleziona the song you want Per Aggiungi.
- The song will be added Per your library with its basic details pre-filled.
After adding a song, Fai clic on it Per review and update its details, Aggiungi arrangements, or attach external links like YouTube videos or chord charts.
Viewing and Editing a Song
Fai clic on any song card Per Apri its detail page. From here you can:
- Modifica song details -- Update the title, artist, duration, and other metadata.
- Manage arrangements -- Each song can have multiple arrangements (for example, different keys or versions). Aggiungi, Modifica, or Rimuovi arrangements as needed.
- Aggiungi lyrics -- Inserisci or update the lyrics for each arrangement using ChordPro notation (for example,
[G]Amazing grace). A live preview Avanti Per the editor renders the formatted chord chart as you Digita, so you can see exactly what your team will see. - Set the key -- Specify the musical key for each arrangement using the key picker Avanti Per the lyrics. Changing the key transposes the displayed chords immediately, both on the arrangement page and when opening the song from a Servizio plan, so your team always sees chords in the key they're actually playing.
- Aggiungi external links -- Attach links Per resources like YouTube videos, chord charts, or sheet music hosted elsewhere.
Arrangements
An arrangement represents a distinct version of a song — for example, a faster modern version versus a slower acoustic take, or the same song in a different key for a different team. Each arrangement of the same song shares the song title and artist but has its own independent Impostazioni:
- Key — the musical key the arrangement is performed in
- BPM — tempo in beats per minute
- Length — duration in seconds
- Meter — Ora signature (e.g., 4/4, 3/4, 6/8)
- Sequence — the chord/section structure (e.g., Intro → Verse → Chorus → Bridge)
- Lyrics — for display or projection
- External links — chord charts, YouTube recordings, sheet music, or other resources
When you Aggiungi a song Per a Service Order, you can Scegli which arrangement Per use for that specific Servizio, so your team always rehearses and plays the right version.
Rehearsal Audio
Worship admins can attach a rehearsal audio track Per an arrangement so the team can listen ahead of practice:
- Apri the song and Seleziona the arrangement.
- Fai clic Carica Audio.
- Scegli an MP3, M4A, or AAC file (up Per 25 MB -- WAV isn't accepted, Per keep storage usage manageable).
- Salva. The track plays inline wherever that arrangement appears -- on the arrangement page in B1 Admin and in the Servizio plan when a team Membro opens it in the B1.church Membro portal. Plan items with audio show a music-note icon instead of a thumbnail.
Deleting the arrangement also removes its uploaded audio file.
Songs from your library can be added directly Per a Service Order within a plan, linking the song details and the chosen arrangement Per that specific Servizio.
